- Wash in warm water and mild soap. Do not put your cap in the dryer.
- Wring out the excess water, insert your fists into the cap, stretch out any
wrinkles.
- Place cap on your knee with the bill pointing toward you. Using your palms,
'iron' the bill on your thigh, setting the shape of the bill.
- Crease the seam on top of the cap, crease a few angles, and allow the hat to
dry. Cotton has the ability to retain its shape.
Shaping your Road Rag In between washes:
- Get it wet and play with it! Then wring out
the excess water
- Smooth out any wrinkles with your hands
- Place the hat on your bent knee with the bill of the hat facing you on your thigh. Shape the
bill with your hands
-
Put the hat on, adjust shaping, and ride it like you stole it!
Making a Pouch:
-
There are four belt loops on your hat Fold the hat so the 2 right loops come together
by folding the material in towards the center of the hat
-
While still holding the right loops take the hook at one end of the hat strap and
hook the two right loops together
-
Repet this step for the left side and use the hook at the other end of the strap
-
Shape your pouch by pushing your fist into the bottom of the newly formed pouch
while pulling up on the strap to center the bag
-
Fold the bill over, slip the rear button through the slot in the bill.
Making an all purpose carrier:
- For single or double can carriers see the instructions above for making a pouch
- For a six pack carrier - take off your hat
- Lay your hat on a table with the top of the hat on the table and with the bill facing away from you
- On the back off the hat on either side of the velcro adjustment tabs are two belt loops - thread the
strap through each loop and hook it to the fron loop
- Grab the strap between the front and rear loops and pull it up
- Fill with your favorite six pack and off you go!
